  • Overview

    SJS Executives is seeking an experienced electrician apprentice. Our ideal candidate will be able to makes repairs by removing, replacing, tightening, splicing, soldering, and insulating defective wiring, plus other duties. 


    • Receiving work orders, oral instructions, and wiring diagrams that indicate the nature of the repair or installation to be made.
    • Indicate and repair the following: Broken and bare wiring, burned out switches and relays, loose connections and fittings, damaged light fixtures, and re-lamping fixtures and poorly operating thermostats.

    • Layout and placement of circuitry, fixtures, controls, and the types of wiring, parts, and equipment installed.
    • Locating broken, worn, damaged, or poorly operating wiring, fixtures, controls, and equipment through visual check or through use of a small variety of test equipment.
    • Complete needed repairs to installed systems, and rearrange and hook up items such as outlets, switches, light fixtures, regulators, and circuit breakers.
    • Some repairs and installations are made from ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and other hard-to-reach places. This requires electrical workers to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
    • Lift and carry tools, equipment, and parts that weigh between 20 pounds and 40 pounds. Occasionally, they lift or move with assistance moderately heavy objects weighing more than 40 pounds



    • U. S. Citizen or Resident Alien - Proof of Citizenship will be required
    • Valid Driver's License - "C" Class
    • OSHA 10 Certification - obtained before start of position
    • CPR Certification - obtained before start of position
    • Able to pass background check
