  • Overview

    SJS Executives is currently looking for an experienced Facility Manager. Our ideal candidate will be able to direct, coordinate, and manage the work effort associated with facilities including, but not limited to roads, buildings and grounds maintenance, snow removal, utilities, and the maintenance of Government equipment and property. The candidate shall demonstrate and apply highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills the ability to manage complex programs in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tasking's under high pressure situations.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security
    • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards
    • Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments
    • Ensure that all services are delivered and all tasks are performed in accordance with the work orders given
    • Support other key management personnel in their responsibilities and ensure they manage in line with relevant statutory security, environmental, health, and compliance requirements
    • Maintain a professional staff and ensure that they follow established Government training protocols, policies, directives, and procedures at all times
    • Communicate effectively with the US Government employees and departments to accomplish tasks and requirements and promote a customer friendly environment in support of operations at all levels
    • Meet the requirements SOW, delivering high quality services that align with the needs of the customer and in accordance with applicable statues and industry best management practices.
    • Responsible for directing all phases of an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program from inception through completion implementing a sound maintenance policy.
    • Act as primary customer contact and interface for all O&M activities
    • Responsible for directing the Contractor's utilities, buildings, and grounds, managing the daily operations and maintenance activities
    • Lead review sessions with the Government to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
    • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules
    • Identify program problems and obtain solutions
    • Provide management oversight and direction to the employees assigned to the O&M team.
    • Ensure all reporting requirements, to include daily and monthly, are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for after hour emergency response and inclement weather response. Provide updates to the Government, as required.
    • Conduct facility self-assessments and make recommendations to the COTR to increase efficiency and cost effectiveness on a continuous basis
    • Coordinate with the COTR and Mission Partners to perform work activities
    • Provide technical support to operating entities

    Qualifications

    • U.S Citizen
    • At least Four (4) years of Facility Management experience
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Facility Management Certification 
    • DAWIA Facilties Engineering - Level II Certification - preferred
    • Must be able to pass background/drug screen
